Logo

Logo references and sketches

Sarah was in charge of designing the logo for our app. Since the logo is for a fitness app, we all decided to keep it simple and legible, focusing on designing just the "X". It can then work as the app icon as well. We chose a simple colour palette of blue and orange, with green as a supplementary colour. Attached below is the final logo.

Week 9
  • The surveys could have been combined
  • For the progress tracking, instead of taking videos can try inputting number of reps or sets
  • Design the function in a way that counts the reps/ sets (basically like steps tracking but for exercises)
  • Maybe audio input for progress tracking?
  • PT certification / documentation: instead of upload, input the registered gym and app can check with the gym themselves
Week 11
  • Put settings in the hamburger, user profile
  • Accept decline part can add an option to propose a new time (after decline go to a different page to propose a new time)
  • Can combine calendar and schedule into one page (use iphone calendar as reference)
  • Change the phrasing for "request denied" to be nicer (ex: trainer unavailable, would you like to propose a new timing?)
  • Message font can be bigger in the notifs (and other boxes)
  • Find a way to add the app name/ logo to the pages
  • Can start on the colour scheme/ logo/ typography
  • Make sure the button for the pts workout plan is distinguishable from the other workouts available (icon, different colour or bigger buttons)
  • Predetermined reps/ sets (refer to the client's calendar, can also have an option to key in manually)
  • Let timer run when working out instead of automatic cooldown timer
  • Rephrase for keying in the weight (can be confused for bodyweight)
  • Target muscle grp->exercise/machine->weight->set/reps->start
  • Creating workout plan can be the same as logging but with some tweaks
  • Remain the help journey but remove the live chat
  • Add a personalised message after the welcome
