Experience:
The learning experience and understanding I have acquired before and after this course is significant. Now, I enjoy doing typography art, and learnt alot in layouts, visual balance, and so much more. When working with titles and passing by Typography art, I learnt to visualise and have an interest in deeply understanding the behind-the-scenes of creating such a nice piece. Learning typography was initially hard for me, but the process was quite enjoyable. Both lecturers guided me slowly and surely, it was crucial to also complete all the tasks in time as it can really affect the timeline of completing our assigned work.

I got to learn more about using Illustrator to create typefaces that are unique. Learning new skills in text formatting and text expression really allowed me to further express my interests in designing, and also convey certain messages through posters, books, magazines and so on. I am really satisfied with the final results and am excited to learn more. It is also important to always update our E-portfolio, as I find it is very useful when it comes to taking notes and processes to summarise and reflect on what we have learnt in total.

Observation:
I observed that I put more attention to little details when creating typography art, such as fonts. I definitely wonder upon the typography used in different street banners and magazines. Besides that, I really learnt to enjoy the process, although it was hard for me to complete all the tasks while battling my health. I learnt to manage my time more wisely so that I don't have to finish all the tasks 1 class behind the rest of my classmates.

Among these 3 tasks, I enjoyed task 1, exercise 1, the most as animating was really new to me. It was exciting to learn new skills throughout this journey. On the other hand, I believe there was room to improve on my last task, which was task 3. I think I could do better to enhance my poster designs.

I am forever grateful for all the guidance, support, and understanding from my lecturers and friends. Their feedback has been helpful to me, and I have learnt many new things just from listening to their perspective on viewing my work. The insights definitely improved my work.

Findings:
I found that all the completed tasks are in specific colours, which is Black and White. I would love to learn how to manage colourful typography art in the future. I have observed throughout these weeks that most typography art are in colours, and I know it might be challenging to deal with colours. It would be great to enhance my typography skills by learning these new things.

I think research is quite important when starting on a task that is given to us. It was challenging for me to think of ideas on how to start on the tasks. Hence, I have learnt to always look for inspiration online or even physically through signs and packaging designs. I sought inspiration from artworks on Pinterest, and Google. It really allows me to think outside of the box when creating.

Further reading was necessary to complete for every end of the task. I have always done it after completing my assignment. I have learnt that I should start on further reading while completing the task, as it really made me learnt new things but it was too late to apply it to my previous assignments.
